Some of McLaren Vale's most famous names in wine, food and art are nestled together on McMurtrie Rd.  Eight good neighbours have joined together to offer visitors the best wine, food and art on the Fleurieu at the McMurtrie Mile Experience.  The McMurtrie Mile offers the very best of McLaren Vale on a single street and the launch of the McMurtrie Mile Experience will see a fabulous new addition to the region's tourist attractions.  The eight venues hosted a day of wine, food and art and entertainment with live music, special tastings and free minibuses.  Erik Thomson (a big fan of the region's food and wine) kicked of the celebrations, launching the new tourist initiative, which will see this microcosm of McLaren Vale firmy marked on every visitor's map.
