Dowie Doole and Gemtree have made the break!  After nearly 5 years together, Dowie Doole and Gemtree have decided to breakaway from the shared Cellar Door partnership we forged at the historic and renowned Salopian Inn and go our separate ways

Dowie Doole and Gemtree enjoyed a wonderful relationship promoting and selling our wines together, which hopefully you as a customer appreciated. 

With the new owners of the Salopian Inn (McLaren Vale Brewing Co) concentrating on their beer brands, we were no longer able to retain our wine brand presence and individual identities as we wished, or, offer our customers a dedicated wine experience. Therefore we decided to seek  alternative solutions.... 

Dowie Doole set up a new office on California Road, McLaren Vale in July 2010 and incorporated a reception / tasting area in the plans, so from May 2011 we will offer exclusive, personalized tastings by appointment, in our lovely new home.

We look forward to seeing you there over a glass of wine and a platter of local cheeses.
