Liquor Licensing

Please note that it is illegal to sell alcohol to any person under the age of 18 years.  In processing this order Dowie Doole understands that you are not under 18 years of age and that the onus of proof of age remains with the person placing the order. 

Payment

Payment is available via Mastercard, Visa and American Express on the web site.  All payments are cleared prior to dispatch of orders.  For postage or fax orders, cheques or money orders should be made payable to “Dowie Doole”.  Payments are charged in Australian Dollars.  Overseas payment can be arranged by contacting info@dowiedoole.com.

Title of goods shall not pass until full payment has been received.  All contracts of sale will be governed by the Laws of South Australia.

Delivery Information

We aim to deliver all wine (all year round) within 7-10 working days of receipt of order.

All prices quoted for freight include “Standard Delivery” and are made during working hours (between Monday and Friday, excluding Public Holiday), therefore please consider sending to a work address if applicable.

Overseas deliver is available via DHL Worldwide Express at the customers cost.  Please contact info@dowiedoole.com to arrange.

Delivery is not available to a PO Box.

Orders will not be dispatched until payment is received in full. 

We will not be liable for any re-delivery costs if incorrect address information is supplied. 

We will not accept any liability for any loss or damage arising from items lost, stolen or damaged after delivery has taken place.

In the event of non-delivery or damage caused by our error, we will make a replacement delivery as soon as possible after receiving advice of the problem or provide a full refund to the sender.

If any wine should become unavailable we will contact the customer to arrange either substitution of another vintage or a refund on that item.

Corked or Damaged Wine

Dowie Doole accepts that wine can become damaged due to naturally occurring bacteria in corks or exposure to oxygen.  For this reason the Company uses only the finest closures which have been proven to eliminate traceable cork taint and reduce random oxidization.  If however you find a wine that is affected we will be happy to exchange it.  Please contact info@dowiedoole.com to arrange for the affected wine to be returned to us so that we can assess the problem and provide a replacement.  If the affected wine is a past vintage that is unavailable, Dowie Doole will exchange for a current vintage.
