In response to the demand from our customers DOWIE DOOLE now proudly uses screw cap closures on all wines except our long-lived Reserve Shiraz, California Road Shiraz and Tintookie Chenin Blanc.  Not only do screw caps closures make our wines more convenient to use but it also ensures that you can enjoy our wines, exactly as our winemaker intended!

 By using screw cap our wines:

• are of the highest quality, exactly as we made them

• are user friendly and stay fresher for longer

• are free from faults or bottle variations

• are not spoilt with cork taint or oxidation

DOWIE DOOLE uses Oeneo Diam Cork for our longer cellaring wines; the Reserve Shiraz and the Tintookie Chenin Blanc.  Oneo Closures have become the world leader in the fight against TCA (cork taint).  The exceptional performance of our wines under cork closure is due to the combination of 3 components making up Oeneo Diam Corks and their specific proportions: fine grain cork flour, microspheres and a binding agent.  Once again this enables our wines to be enjoyed by you, exactly as our winemaker intended!
