"the surprise is in the lime cordial and zest characters that follow sensuously in the mouth"
Tony Love, Adelaide Advertiser
Year: 2010
Editorial: "Creamy and strawberry aromas and a cute dose of lolly-like sweet smells, yet the surprise is in the lime cordial and zest characters that follow sensuously in the mouth, through to a lovely finish." (2010 Vintage)

"attractive herby/white flower bouquet"
Jeff Collerson, Daily Telegraph
Year: 2010
Editorial: "Try this McLaren Vale dry white, among the best local versionsof this Loire Valley grapes. Aussie Chenins are medium sweet but this is a Vouvray style, with attractive herby/white
flower bouquet and precise waxy mouthfeel. Try with barbecued octopus." (2010 Vintage)

"This delivers a lot for the dollars"
Julian Coldrey, Full Pour
Year: 2010
Editorial: "This is so structured and alive -- the acidity is abundant and natural-tasting -- it takes a moment for actual flavours to register, but they are there, fresh and clean, and quite intense. Decent thrust through the after palate leads to a slight dip just before an unexpectedly long, truly impressive finish." (2010 Vintage)

Wine of the Week
Winsor Dobbin
Year: 2010
Editorial: "this is an absolute cracker from McLaren Vale; dry with crisp green apple flavours, it is light, zingy and lively - and a very good alternative to sauvignon blanc. The wine is almost water-coloured but don't be deceived. It is aromatic on the nose with some nice flinty minerality on the finish. This would be great with oysters, or a seafood platter, and is great value for $18." (2010 Vintage)

"Overall very impressive"
Rick Allen, Manly Daily
Year: 2010
Editorial: "You don't see a lot of Chenin Blanc in
Australia (its home is the Loire Valley in
France), but this McLaren Vale white is
impressive. Aromatic on the nose, it has
a good depth of flavour - green apple
and banana mostly, with a touch of
pineapple - leading to a crisp, minerally
finish. Overall very impressive, especially
if you're looking to broaden your drinking
horizons. Top value." (2009 Vintage)

"this is the good stuff"
Paul Ippolito
Year: 2009
Editorial: "this is the good stuff, the stuff that evokes florallness fruit and flavour. Indeed the deepness of the character of all of these is what really draws you right onto the Chenin Blanc team." (2009 vintage)

Campbell Mattinson, The Wine Front
Year: 2009
Editorial: "It's a darn good drink. It's aromatic, fruity and generous for the most part of it, and then dry and (dare I say it) stylish and pippy as it leaves your mouth." (2009 Vintage)

GOLD Medal & Laffort Trophy
2009 McLaren Vale Wine Show

Editorial: Best white varietal excluding Chardonnay. "A strong class with real interest. Top Chenin Blanc was the stand out amongst a group of solid wines."

"this is a wine to throw back by the dozen, a highly drinkable dry white"
Julian Coldrey, Full Pour
Year: 2009
Editorial: "Very clean notes of cut apple, a hint of passionfruit and a general fruitiness that reminds me of Sauvignon Blanc or Verdehlo, but without smelling like either. There's also a bit of minerality -- just a bit -- that adds some complexity and sophistication. Mostly, though, this has a fresh, pleasing aroma profile reminiscent of Summer picnics." (2009 Vintage)

Phillip White
Year: 2008
Editorial: "Forget your half-cut pinots gris; give your Kiwi savvys-B away on Norwood Parade; tip your viognier in the cassoulet and drink this. The stunning new chenins of Coriole now have a sister over the ridge: this wine is delicious, crunchy and swift in a manner that makes me wish I was Elsie the quarterhorse who’s outside gutsing herself on the bright spring sward. It smells, indeed, like a seaside meadow of soursob, jonquill and verbena, with clumps of gorse just coming into flower. Its flavour is at once uplifting yet somehow chalky and authoritative, like sauvignon rarely is. And it’ll cellar. Fish." (2008 Vintage).

Tony Love, Adelaide Advertiser
Year: 2008
Editorial: "One of a small few in the Vales who worship and nurture their chenins, here bringing out a touch of aromatic herbals and even a little anise for further interest, and nicely connected and balanced in its progress, spiced, grapey with a little crispness and lift in the finish." Tony Love, Adelaide Advertiser
Year: 2008
Editorial: "Created with a lot of faith in a variety that gets little air time here but is a star in France's Loire, this includes 12% Hills sauvignon blanc and offers a lovely waft of green and orange melons, tropical fruits with a tight, fresh palate to finish." (2007 Vintage)
