Do I need a booking to visit?

Bookings are highly recommended for weekends to guarantee a spot. However we will always endeavour to fit you in for a tasting if we have space to do so.

How long does a tasting go for?

Generally, tastings take approximately 45 minutes.

Can I stay on for a wine and platter after a tasting?

If there is available capacity whilst adhering to our COVID safe plan, you may be able to extend your stay for a wine by the glass/bottle. We have plenty of space at wine barrels out on the lawn reserved for wine by the glass/bottle.

Am I allowed to bring my own food or drinks?

Strictly no BYO food or drinks. We have platter items and non-alcoholic drinks available to purchase.

What is the maximum group size you can accept?

Our maximum group size for tastings is 10 guests. We do not accept group bookings after 2pm.

Do you accept licensed buses?

We do not allow groups travelling in a licensed bus.

Is the cellar door dog friendly?

Yes, we are dog friendly, however please keep your dog on a lead at all times as we do get the occasional visit from kangaroos! Also please make sure to clean up after your dog.

Do you allow hens and bucks groups at your cellar door?

You are welcome to celebrate here if you are respectful to everyone else on site. We reserve the right to refuse entry or remove people who do not follow this guideline.

Do you offer gift vouchers?

Yes, we can create tasting experience gift vouchers or wine gift vouchers for you. Please email us attastingroom@dowiedoole.comand we can organise this for you.
