Biodiversity McLaren Vale

For the past 3 years DOWIE DOOLE has been a partner of Biodiversity McLaren Vale.

Biodiversity McLaren Vale is a joint initiative of local community, industry and government. In simple terms, they remove feral vegetation from creek lines within the McLaren Vale region and replace them with native plant species. They nurture these new seedlings until they are established and then watch, as the new environment flourishes and essential native fauna returns to the area.

Biodiversity McLaren Vale people are volunteers, who do everything from getting dirt under the fingernails at one of their monthly field days and project management to turning the BBQ and pouring the drinks at a BMV social gathering.

The ANZ Community Ball is an evening celebrating South Australian communities and raising funds for local charities including Operation Flinders, Jodi Lee Foundation, Royal Flying Doctors Service, Zoos SA and SAHMRI.

Dinner in the Dark

Dinner in the Dark is an exclusive dining experience, where your most dominant sense will be taken away from you. And it's all for a good cause, raising funds for Can:Do 4Kids. Can:Do 4Kids provides support and services to children and young people who are blind, deaf, have low vision, are hard of hearing, or have diverse needs such as development delay or Autism Spectrum Disorder.
